Rick Sanford started a music service called A Blast Entertainment providing customers with live entertainment as a one-man band performing at restaurants, clubs and beach bars.

In 1996, The Blast Band Was Founded
The Blast Band was founded with co-founder Kris Tonner because customers were requesting live duo’s, trios and more. We have been serving the Southeast United States ever since and have thousands of happy customers.

In 2019, The World's Longest Album Was Created
We gathered up a bunch of our original music compositions and created the World’s Longest Album for all to enjoy and help promote two great children’s charities. We add new songs to this collection still to this day…
